GAME 3 RECAP
A - El Rancho Vs. Blockheads - 1/21/05 - 9:15pm
FNF Game #3 featuring A League rivals El Rancho and Blockheads was a hard fought 3-0 victory for the men in black, red & yellow. Two goals by Eric Hillstrom and strong two-way play by Matt Wark, Mike Davis, Matt Nimetz, Eric Confer, and Kevin Kolb helped seal the deal for 'the Ranch,' earning them their second victory of the season. Blockheads received strong performances from the game's 3rd Star Eric Anderson, feisty winger Jamie Stuntz, along with Phil Looman, Paul Gelose, and underrated netminder, Eric Parker. El Rancho's Zach Ludwig earned the game's 1st Star after recording his first shutout of the season. The game's 2nd Star was smooth-skating blueliner Mike Davis, also of 'the Ranch.' Other notes from the game: Kevin Grady of Slayers (B2 League) won 1st and 2nd prize in the Puck Toss Raffle.
